Make a bequest to protect habitat for future generations

World Land Trust-US established the Endowment for Habitat to receive gifts and bequests to support the work of organizations and programs which the Board of WLT-US has approved for land protection and general operating support. WLT-US is a tax exempt organization under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code as described under section 170(b)(1)(A), registered in New York, New York in May 1989. Our Federal Tax ID# is 13-3500609. We have offices in Deerfield, New Hampshire, and at 2806 P Street, NW, Washington, DC 20007. Please send notice of bequest intentions to WLT-US, PO Box 381, Deerfield, NH 03037.

Sample language:
"I bequeath (percentage of remainder, or a dollar amount) to World Land Trust-US to support the protection of habitat for endangered species." You may request that your gift be directed to a particular project of WLT-US, such as Fundación Jocotoco. As with all US nonprofit corporations supporting programs outside the US, WLT-US retains ultimate control of the funds to ensure the continuity of its charitable purposes.
